“I am a neurobiologist in the human memory research field. My background is rooted in biology and molecular sciences and my area of expertise is neuroscience. At the moment, I am combining this knowledge with training in neuroimaging to study an elderly population with excellent episodic memory. This research is valuable to understand how episodic memory can be preserved in old age and avoid its loss in Alzheimer’s disease patients.”
